Kesen Cosil® Acid Crosslinker is a compounded acetoxysilane which is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with a strong acetic acid odor. It is mainly used as a crosslinking agent for silicone room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber.

Cosil ® acid crosslinker acts as a raw material for one-component room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber and acts as a crosslinker. It is a complete replacement for methyltriacetoxysilane and ethyltriacetoxysilane in product formulations. It also gives the product greater flexibility and toughness, as well as a wider range of bonding properties.

Storage and shelf life:

Store in a cool, dry place with the original packaging sealed. The storage period is 9 months from the date of manufacture. The label is marked on each batch of product label. The product storage process must be sealed and stored. Failure to seal or store a poorly sealed package may result in deterioration of the product.

Precautions:

This product is very easy to react with moisture in the air, releasing acetic acid. If the concentration of acetic acid in the air is too high, it will damage the respiratory system, irritate the skin and eyes, and should be well ventilated during use.

Personal protection to prevent products from entering the eyes. If you accidentally enter your eyes, immediately wash it with plenty of water and immediately take it to the hospital for medical treatment.
